bubble wrap & cookies

My mother once sent to me three English Tea cookies (which i love) in a ziplock, and then wrapped them in a strip of bubble wrap. And this is why I love her.

Why do you love your mother? Yes, tell me, a random stranger instead of your mother. Ok, first tell me and then go tell your mother. ... the proper order of something like that.

1. She once lured me outside under the guise that she needed help and then pelted me with a snowball. But you've written about that before.

2. I love that she has such a spunky sense of humor (as illustrated above) but she'd be the last to say so.

3. I also love the random things she sends in packages, like when we were in Poland. I'd ask for a few things occasionally, but it was always the surprise stuff that was most endearing. Like the bloody eyeballs toy for Anna. That kept us entertained through the dark winter there.

One time, when I was in high school, she made a lot of egg breakfasts, one after the other. Totally fine except that I just ended up eating cold cereal. Friday rolled around and she was serving cold cereal. I started to whine just a bit, saying that I had eaten that all week long, when she cut in and said, "Your pancakes are on the stove." She totally made me my own pancakes when everyone else was having cold cereal.

moms are great, but let's talk more about english teas. THEY ARE AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS and the cookie of my childhood and my mouth is drooling at the memory of them. Where can we find them!?!?!?!

My mom loves to talk to us. Almost every day when we came home from school, she would be there and we would each take a turn telling every detail about our day and we would have great discussions about what we learned at school. She's one of my favorite people in the world to talk to. :0)
