Weekly Cereal Thought

Here is a question. After having almost completely finished a bowl of cereal, and you're down to a small puddle of milk with a couple--let us say--fruity cheerios floating by, have you ever added additional cereal to make the cereal/milk ratio proportionate because you're kind of anal like that?



I haven't. That would be crazy.

Absolutely not! You can't add in the middle, you'll have some crunchy and some soggy! Drink the milk from the bowl and then have a second bowl if you need more cereal. That's just the way I roll.

Oh, yeah, you HAVE to add cereal! I mean, otherwise all the milk is just wasted and it tastes WAY better now that it's been flavored a bit by the cereal! Plus, I'm pretty sure it still counts as one bowl, so the calories are basically nil. (Not that I would ever count calories...)

This was how I used to eke out five bowls of cereal for each "one" bowl I rewarded myself for writing a page of my thesis. (It's also how I gained 13 pounds in one month!)

Of course! I also happen to sometimes add more milk than I should just so I'll have that situation to deal with...

Yeah, I always put way more milk in the bowl just to be sure that I can add more cereal at the end. I always eat every bit of the soggy cereal first, though, so that you don't end up with some soggy and some crunchy (as Rob mentioned). This was you don't mix new with old, but you're still really only having one bowl of cereal. :0)

sometimes i really think i can't stop and i could just eat one eternal bowl of cereal. It's scary.
