Astronomy Alert!

Tonight the planets and moon align. In the southern sky, Jupiter, Venus, and a gorgeous crescent moon form a triangle. don't miss it! Many of my many blog fans live several time zones west of me so as someone who's just viewed it in the darkness of 5:30pm EST, it is my duty to let you know, and hopefully you have been faithfully checking my blog on the hour every hour throughout the day, as you should be. It is awesome! and won't happen again until 2052. I plan to enjoy it again as a 72-year-old. note to self: don't forget.

I tried to get some pictures of it which was impossible, but oh well.

Someday I would enjoy getting to go star gazing with you. I don't know when, but it sure would be cool!

I set an alarm on my phone to remind me to run out and look at 7:30, but then I realized that the galaxies don't exactly adhere to our earthy time zones. oh man I'm dumb...
