morning thoughts

A few days ago i woke up with a swollen gimpy eye. This morning I woke up with a fat lip on one side. The thought of a mosquito biting my face in my sleep disturbs me. I'm tired of waking up looking deformed.

Maybe Sean is just elbowing you in your sleep.

Ha. That's what I said.

Man.. a mosquito bite on the lip is stupid. I have swollen lip and it itches. lame lame lame.

I actually thought that the lip and eye area was somehow either immune to mosquito venom or unappealing to the little critters... because I have never seen another example of this affliction... Is there a doctor or entomologist in the house? Or hiker? Or Floridian?

You're only making things look worse for yourself, Sean.

Must I really defend my elbow leaving injuries that itch afterward...

I heard about this spider that comes out and sucks your blood from the same spot every night and it leaves a chemical trail to find it's way.

Sweet dreams...

GROSS. I bet that's true. I really wonder how many spiders i come into contact with at night.

That's why I check between each sheet and blanket BEFORE I get in bed, just to make sure there's nothing there.

When we were in the Caribbean, we would frequently get mosquitos biting us at night. The worst, though, was when they would wake you up by buzzing in your ear!!! Ugh, I seriously almost gave myself a concussion by trying to kill one once!

haha-wow. Yeah, they sometimes buzz in our ear. If i create a dome over my head with just enough air, i can hide from them. I think they're gone now though.
