Presenting--The Lower West

The first song of our first-ever concert is UP! You'll see it first here! Watch and enjoy, please. I hope. And can someone please tell me what to do when the camera is 5 inches away from my face?? i am so boring. I need some sweet piano-dance moves or something.

I must say I'm impressed. The quality of the writing, singing, and playing was all very good. Your playing integrated with the guitars much better than I expected.

As far as what to do when the camera is on you, you need to go watch The School of Rock and pay attention to Lawrence.

I am still learning how to play in this way/style. It's not my natural inclination but it is buckets of fun. I'm still a bit timid about taking initiative on the 'boards but I should probably just trust myself and do what i want. Until someone says, "that's crap, Jen..." But thank you. :)

Originally the piano brought a nice dimension to the guitars, providing some bass balance. Then Jeff bought a bass and that freed me up to do other things. Plus, it's boring if i just stay at the bottom all the time. We did just an audio recording of the songs the other night and I like that version a lot better than this one, but I still like this one.

Excellent suggestion about Lawrence. I will watch that again...

Very cool Jen! I love it!! The song is beautifully written and I really do like how your piano playing sounds with the guitars.. it's great. I want to hear more of your songs- do you guys do a lot of this stuff?

hey thanks! we only recently formed the band. We get together fairly often and just mess around, or "jam" if you will. Dom has been writing and performing forever. All of the songs we do are his, pretty much. There are 5 more songs from this show so i'll put them up when they're done being edited.
