Should our band name be...
The Vanderbilt Union
or
The Lower West
Vanderbilt Union is significant because it has to do with where we live, and i also like the sound of the prestige combined with the blue collar. And the Lower West has a double meaning.. New York (lower west side) and also Utah, where we all hail from. And Brooklyn is considered "lesser" than Manhattan, thus we are humbly "lower"... but not in our opinion. If that makes sense.

Okay, so I kind of like both, but if I HAD to choose, I think it would be The Vanderbilt Union.
But if you're not totally sold on those, how about this one I just came up with? Jmale. J for Jen, male for the males in the band, and it's just slightly off-sounding enough (from Gmail) to stop people in their tracks. I think we may have a winner...

I think someone got tired and just made a myspace page for it. I think i, too, was leaning toward The Vanderbilt Union. It's not entirely set in stone & could be changed but, ahhhh.. it was so hard to come up with a name, it's nice to have one finally.
