i like celery

I like celery because i like the way it crunches when i bite into it. I also like its faint veggie taste. I like how watery it is and refreshing. I've always thought eating celery was like drinking water and i've been made fun of for that. "Ahhh.. all i want is a nice tall stalk of celery" they'd say. But i stand by it. It's what makes it great. Someone once said celery was nature's toothbrush. Or maybe that was carrots. Anyway, so that's another good thing about it. You feel clean. Some people don't like celery because the strings get caught in their teeth. So maybe it's like a toothbrush that leaves behind twigs and debris. Still, there are worse foods that are problematic like that, like popcorn. And we still like it, right? Fresh celery is just really nice. Crisp, crunchy, tasting a little bit like dirt. I just feel good when I eat it.

How could I forget your love of celery and our celery runs to the store?! Pretty funny.

Make the torture stop! The boringness is overcoming me!

Hey, I just wanted to give you a chance to pontificate on the two things you love: celery and Sean. What's wrong with that?

brooke, who said it was ok to say "pontificate"? who?

yeah, but celery really is boring. it's just not interesting. and sean... well... no one wants to read stuff like that and this blog is really geared toward more useless things (albeit interesting).

Alright. I'll work on coming up with more interesting topics for you to blog on. Oh, wait, I have to figure out interesting things for ME to blog on first. Sorry. :)

weird.. i wonder what they're doing there.

michelle, thanks for the late night celery runs. i remember you saying it tasted like dirt. i was offended at the time, but...alas.. you're right.

And because worms are in the dirt and die in the dirt ..... maybe celery tastes like WORMS!!!!

maybe worms are part of EVERYTHING! everything we touch, eat, etc is like touching, eating worms. when we were being sorry for ourself as small children my mom used to tease us by saying "nobody likes me, everybody hates me, i'm going to go eat worms..." dangit, mom! j/k. good times talking about worms. i like how in the worm post i talk as if i know anything about worms, which i don't at all. suddenly i'm a worm scientist...
