i got a hole in one

Strange occurrences have been known to take place in my kitchen. I believe it is because this apartment was built on a graveyard, a graveyard of plaster and tile because my landlord is cool and re-gutted the apt and dumped it out back many moons ago. The trees and foliage have grown over it, but it is still there, haunting me. Anyway, i forgot what this was even about. Oh yes. Look what happened the other day. I cracked some eggs and--what the hey???

There was a hole in one! (<-- ha ha. i've found the title for this post) A spot on an egg yolk is disgusting. Cracking TWO yolks from one egg is probably a 5 times in a lifetime experience, and an exciting one at that (although it makes me think it was twins, which is also disgusting. Because twins are GROSS.) But a hole in the yolk?? Never in my life! I sure like using italics to add some emphasis. I sure do!

This post is dumb.

When I lived in Africa, we'd get the occasional egg that wasn't an egg at all but a tiny dead chick. I think I'm still traumatized by that. I get nervous every time I'm cracking eggs. (Maybe that's why I always end up with shell in the bowl, too? It's not because I'm an incompetent chef, it's because of psychological damage!!!)

Anyway, hope you have not likewise been traumatized.

And I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes using italics!

That is pretty freaky...Did you actually eat the egg?? I'm not sure I would've been able to!
